James Crumlish

Jim joined Acadian in 2017 and serves as the firm’s Chief Information Officer. In this capacity, he works with business leaders and stakeholders, aligning projects, people, and resources to execute firm-wide strategic goals. Jim was previously Acadian’s Chief Technology Officer and joined the Executive Committee in 2021. Prior to joining Acadian, Jim was a managing director at State Street Global Advisors, where he oversaw the full development life cycle for the firm’s risk applications, investment solutions, currency management, and market data management functions. Jim holds an M.B.A. from Babson College and earned a B.A. in mathematics, with a minor in computer science, from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
